My name is Tim and this is my story.

One of the reasons I started the Our Prayers Work Website is to express myself about God and how I feel about life. It's easy to get caught up in everyday life, everything passes us by and we don't realize where the time has gone. I try to stop, even if just for a few seconds, and look around. Smell the cold air from a winters snow, the fresh cut grass in the spring or a summer rain storm. This takes me back to a special relaxing place that only God and I are allowed. That's a beautiful feeling. I call this catching the moment.

My goal is to make a world wide prayer group and here is how it works. In our prayers we need to say, I Pray for the people in "Our Prayers Work." By doing this, each person will be praying for the entire group. We can have millions of people praying for our needs every day. My wife and I are sewing prayer cloths that you can carry with you. I carry my cloth with me every day, and pass them out to people at our church. It serves as an object to hold onto while you silently pray throughout the day.
